8 Ridiculous Reactions to Zimmerman's "Not Guilty" Verdict I've had to Roll my Eyes through.
Chicago Now ^ | July 23, 2013 | Christoffer Bell

People need to shut up about Zimmerman being found “Not-Guilty.” It might have been sh*tty, but it wasn’t a “Miscarriage” of justice. Rodney King was a “Miscarriage” of Justice (even though he was a dirt-bag). Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination was a “Miscarriage” of justice. What happened to Malcolm X was a “Miscarriage” of justice.

This whole thing was just a sh*tty fiasco inflated by the media that left one young man dead, and ruined the life of the other.

Both sides of this issue are stupid, and I’m outraged at the social media posts from both. Martin’s side for being stupid, and Zimmerman’s side for being racist.

Without further ado, Here are 8 examples of the ridiculous reactions to the Zimmerman Verdict that I've had to roll my eyes through.

1) Kim Kardasian tweeting that there is “No Justice” in reference to the Zimmerman verdict.

Shut the hell up. Your dad got O.J. off and he is the only reason that people care that you’re alive. If it weren’t for him you would be stripping in a club somewhere after you exhausted your trust fund. If someone has you as their role-model they should be used to set off vestigial mines in Uganda.

2) Anyone posting a photo of 5 scumbags, who happen to be black, along with their poor white victim on Facebook with the caption, “Where is the outrage for her.”

You’re a racist ***hole. First of all, unless the hoods got off using Self-Defense the situation isn’t applicable. Second, we get it. A lot of people who commit crimes are black. Have you ever considered that is because racist ***holes like you, and a bunch of other factors (like poverty, parental marital status, etc.) produce a criminal and not their skin color?

3) Saying that the Martins should Appeal the Verdict on Twitter. i.e.-

@A1Black_: RT @_surlySprite: They need to APPEAL THIS VERDICT AND GO TO THE SUPREME COURT Don't Stop until Justice is Served for T…

@34thwarrior: Trayvon parents should appeal this to the next level

@_CharNae: Trayvon Martin parents better appeal this case! I would NOT let nobody off for killing my child! HELL TF NO!

@_shVn: Trayvon's parents can appeal this verdict and try to get justice again! Lets pray they do and it turns out right this time! Rip

First of all, the Martin family isn’t prosecuting Zimmerman. The state of Florida is. You’re an idiot. Also, there is NO APPEAL. The state can’t “appeal” a not-guilty verdict. Now that would be a miscarriage of justice.

4) Obama should bring federal charges against Zimmerman since he was found “Not Guilty.”

The state almost always brings federal charges. If they don’t then the government can’t bring them after someone is found “Not-Guilty” of other stuff. You’re a dick. How would you like it if someone found you “Not-Guilty” of murder, and then the very next week brought identical “Federal Charges” against you? That’s called double jeopardy, and jurists a lot smarter than you have realized that it’s unfair. If you would have just took a second to GOOGLE it, you would have found this.

Double stupid points to the lot that believed this one. Barack Obama taught law at University OF Chicago. The #4 best law school in the country. He knows the law, and that it would be pointless to persecute (not prosecute) Zimmerman, after he was found “Not-Guilty.” In your mythological world, if Obama forced "extra" charges, it would be a publicity stunt. Not because he thought it was the right or proper.

5) The state of Florida didn’t do enough to put on a good trial.

The State put on the best trial it could. This was a crappy case, and they knew it. There were no witnesses and there was a tape no one could agree on. However, since this was such a high-profile case, the state assigned 3 prosecutors to the trial (Let’s say that again: THREE). Those 3 prosecutors had a combined total of 500 trials under their belt.

The state doesn’t do that unless they think that they have almost no chance of winning, or it’s a big profile case with lots of publicity. Both apply to this one, and the state threw a bunch of tax money at this guy just to come up with snake eyes.

6) The “Not Guilty” verdict is the product of some big racist conspiracy.

I hate to break it to you, but unforeseen racist forces are not at work here, and even if that insane possibility existed you think Zimmerman would be the horse they bet on? The state as well as the defense got to choose the jurors, and you can be sure that the defense, the prosecution, and the judge were all on the look-out for jurors who wanted to base their verdict on race. They picked 6 white women, and several news stories stated that many of them delivered the verdict with tears in their eyes. This leads me to believe that they felt guilty sending Zimmerman free, and it makes it all that more plausible that they reached the verdict the Law required them to. (BTW if you think it’s okay to base a verdict on race than you’re as bad as the racist ***holes you preach against).

7) If Zimmerman was black he would have been found “Guilty”

It’s certainly possible. Do me a favor...invent a worm hole to take us to another dimension like in Sliders. Then show me what would have happened if Zimmerman were black. Thanks. Anyway, the black panthers have put a price on Zimmerman’s head. (See that Here). So now that he’s kept his liberty he has to try and keep his life.

8) This debacle stole the limelight from the Bradley Manning Trial.

Who is Bradley Manning? Yeah, it’s already a problem if you don’t know. Bradley Manning is a private who passed sensitive military documents to Wikileaks because he thought you had the right to know what was in them. The leaked documents showed a bunch of things the public was entitled to, and his trial is going on right now. For excerpts of what those leaked documents show click here.

The military is trying to railroad Manning and make an example out of him, and no one, but credible-journalists seem to care. The media hasn’t made a peep about the case. The same media who represents everything that Manning stood for in leaking the documents to Wikileaks. Make no mistake that Manning is a patriot. He served in the Military and he leaked documents because he believed that the government was wrong in trying to hide them from the American public.

I understand it was a crime, but do you see the trend that is happening lately. As we enter the age of technology the United States government is becoming less and less transparent. For example, they didn’t tell us that they were reading our emails and texts using PRISM.(A kind of computer program used to spy on you). When the case finally broke they told us the secret was for our own good. In fact, every time the government hides something from us they tell us it’s for our protection. However, you can’t say the same. You tell the government something isn’t its business the response is, “Are you a terrorist. You must have something to hide.”

The Zimmerman Trial is just what it looks like.

This was a sh*tty situation. Did race play a part in it, most likely. Zimmerman saw a black kid in a hoodie, and decided to harass him. After that, who knows? Martin could have attacked Zimmerman, and Zimmerman could have killed him in self defense. Or Zimmerman could have been waiting for Martin to fight back so he could kill him. Both are possible.

Unfortunately, the law doesn’t speak in could haves or maybes. You need to be as close to certain as possible in order to take away someone’s liberty and send them to jail for the rest of their life. Anything else…is Un-American. My guess is that you didn’t watch the entire trial. The jurors did. I’m guessing that you have been influenced by the “expert” opinion of the media’s legal shills. The jurors were not. Everyone has had an opinion on the Zimmerman case, but few have had rational basis for forming one.

You know what is unfortunate. The fact that no one realizes that political apathy played a part in this tragedy. Florida has a "Stand your ground" self-defense doctrine. Meaning that you don't have to run away from an attacker even if you could. It's the same one we have in Illinois. Even if Zimmerman could have gotten away safely, he didn't have to. All he had to do was ensure that the Jury believed him when he said he feared for his life. This isn't lost on everyone, and some are working to change it.

“People need to shut up about Zimmerman being found “Not-Guilty.””

This is the author's opening sentence. He should follow his own advice.

My advice about the case would be if you don't have anything intelligent or truthful to say then STFU. People who are knowledgeable are needed to refute all the lies and ignorance repeated by the MSM, Obama and ignorant people.

Well put.

And you should be congratulated for not calling them “black shitheads”, because as we all know after looking at their pictures, that would be racist.

Bradley Manning is a private who passed sensitive military documents to Wikileaks because he thought you had the right to know what was in them.

Bullshit.

The chubby-cheeked little queer stole information, the content of which he had no idea, and released it as a petulant little act of foot-stomping.

His widdle feewings were hurt, because he was told that his faggot activities did not go with what the military expected from him.

He is not a whistle-blower, he is not a patriot...he is simply a childish little faggot with hurt feelings.

Period.

If Zimmerman was black he would have been found “Guilty”

If Zimmerman was black, then the racist Martin wouldn't have attacked him.

“The number of people demanding an appeal of a Not Guilty verdict is flat out unbelievable.”

You’re talking about knuckle-dragging nitwits who are utterly clueless about our legal system. The idiots don’t realize that the State has the burden of proof to show beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty of the crime. If the State can’t prove its case, then the defendant walks. The double jeopardy laws preclude the defendant from being tried again for the same crime.

He lost me quite a few times. The death knell was the rubbish about Manning and how he released documents which the public had a right to know. That’s not how a security clearance works, and that packer deserves to be breaking rocks for the rest of his worthless life at best.
