Brazil's Rousseff calls off state visit to US over spying

The spying revelations sparked a political uproar that Rousseff could not ignore despite a 20-minute telephone call from President Barack Obama last night.

The trip was to be a platform for "deals, oil exploration and biofuels", and Brazil purchase of fighter jets from Chicago-based Boeing Co. The contract worth more than $4 billion that Boeing is seeking for the sale of 36 F-18 fighter jets to the Brazilian Air Force

If Obummer was a smart ass he would release a statement in response saying it was no surprise, he had already heard about it.
