Joanna Dennehy, 31, who has pleaded guilty to murdering three men and the attempted murder of two others in England, is seen stretching out her pierced tongue in a wild smile in what authorities say are photos taken only minutes before she selected her next two victims.
Photos capturing the smiling face of a deranged serial killer just before she knifed her fourth and fifth victims in a bloodlust frenzy in England last spring were shown before a court this week. Joanna Dennehy, 31, is seen stretching out her pierced tongue in a wild smile in what authorities say are self-taken photos only minutes before she selected her next two victims in Hereford, just east of Wales, the Sun reported.
The photos were among several shown to a jury in the trial of two of her accused accomplices, Gary Stretch and Leslie Layton, who allegedly aided in covering up her murders.
In November, Dennehy pleaded guilty to the triple murder of three men who were stabbed in the chest before their bodies were recovered days later in a Cambridgeshire ditch.
Two other male victims who were allegedly selected by Dennehy purely because they were out walking their dogs were also savagely attacked by Dennehy in April. Remarkably both victims survived. "I thought she was going to mug him but then it twigged on me," Mark Lloyd, who was in the vehicle driven by Stretch when Dennehy spotted victim John Rogers walking his dog, told the court, according to London's Mirror Online.
When Dennehy returned to the car she was carrying Rogers' pet.
"It's me only friend," she allegedly told the pair while holding the Whippet.
"I thought, 'you just want blood,'" Lloyd described his shocked reaction.
Moments before the attack store surveillance video further captured Dennehy laughing with Stretch in a convenience store she had entered while armed with a weapon.
Lloyd was also there but as he told the court he wasn't laughing with them he was contemplating how to tell the shop assistant to call the police.
"I wanted to say something but there wasn't the time," he said of his decision, which he said was based on fear.
Dennehy is currently in custody awaiting her sentencing in the three murders and two attempted murders. She has also pleaded guilty to preventing a lawful and decent burial for her victims. Stretch, whose real name is Gary Richards, has pleaded not guilty to preventing the lawful burial of all three victims and two counts of attempted murder.
You've come a long way, baby.
If that’s a selfie she has a freakishly long double wristed left arm.
Too bad none of the victims were in a position to shoot this filthy dog dead when she attacked them.
I’d like to hear Laz’s comments on her.
No longer ‘Jolly old England’ is it?
She had two or three male minions helping her.
I’d hit it.... With a shovel.
I’d hit it ... with a 180gr JHP.
Time for some “common sense” knife control laws!
Don’t play with demons as a fashion statement.

It’s very confusing to read and understand what happened here.
He though he was going to be an accessory to mayhem, not murder.
She’s nutz enough that she thought the new-found dog was more a friend than her accessory-to-murder human mates.
She doesn’t look any more nutz than half the people who’ve hung out at my house in the last decade or so...
Boy, she’s full of herself and everything about says reality was an enigma to her. I bet she will come out of fantasy land when she goes to prison.
She’s a “keeper”.
She’ll be out in 5.
LOL
