I learned more about Andrew Sullivan than I ever cared too :/

They will cite it to prove that the decline, decadence and dissolution of American culture was the result the neo pagan embrace of epicurean hedonism by a critical percentage of the population. The values and practices espoused by Sullivan are enshrined in the platform of the Democratic Party.
He says nothing that matters, but he uses the word 'nonlinear' a lot, which I guess is a proxy hypnosis signal for depth.
So Sullivan is alive? He’s just as irrelevant as if he weren’t.
Once is too much. Mind altering substances are taken for the purpose of affecting reality to one degree or another. Marijuana affects health as does tobacco and is as addictive as well. Marijuana also affects the mind more than users will admit. Don’t smoke is good advice for a healthy mind and body. Legal or not, don’t start.
People that are really into weed make nonsensical arguments that put climate kooks to shame.
I quit reading after the author made it clear he was an AIDS infested homosexual who smokes pot and still has sex with other men. What a guy.
For once he doesn’t sound as if the brain parasites have totally eaten all of it, which is a refreshing surprise, but I could do without being regaled with tales of his HIV-positive hookups while stoned. He is one damaged, sick puppy who occasionally has lucid moments despite it all, rather like Bill Maher after a karmic return.

I don’t believe Andrew doesn’t write when he’s stoned. He’s gone from advocating for sex the same night one meets another, to advocating for pot, to advocating for abortion, to decrying the expense the Left, stuck the college with, without even stopping for a sip of water.
