Look. Define “smart” for me OK?
Let’s just start with that
The intelligentsia is always passing it self off as so intellectual
The DC crowd considers itself soooooooo sophisticated
I don’t think there’s 10 people out of 500 something there in the three branches of government that have any kind of real degree in any kind of subject for example engineering physics medicine
They’re all lawyers with cheesy little law degrees
Just because you’re a lawyer and you can talk quick does not mean that you’re smart
Rush Limbaugh coined the phrase “words mean things”
In the end you have to imagine , like we do it free republic , that everything you say is going to be converted to words on paper or online
Thus it would behoove Democrats to carefully consider what they say
You are right, too many lawyers, not enough other people.
I have worked with and for lawyers for over 30 years. And I can tell you forsooth that lawyers are, for the most part, innumerate people who otherwise did well in school. Had they been numerate many would have become doctors, etc. But you know, they can’t do the math.
They also think they are experts in everything, because anything might be litigated (esp. here in the USA).
Now, these people aren’t stupid, but they also have the fatal flaw, they are not as smart as they think they are. Just like my sister-in-law.
