Consensual incest advocates are rooting for an anonymous New York parent who wants to marry their own adult child.
Australian Richard Morris, who is pushing to change incest laws in about 60 countries, said he supports the legal push in Manhattan Federal Court and that such behavior between consenting adults “should not be criminalized.”
He and other advocates have launched about 130 petitions, mostly on change.org, seeking to change incest laws around the world. Most have received little support.

Yes, I remember it well. Back before Obergefell “settled” the issue, I used to point out to same-sex marriage proponents that their asinine arguments (”love is love,” “all love is equal,” “people should be able to marry anyone they want”) could very easily be extended to incestuous couples, multiple partners, etc. Scalia warned about the slippery slope, and as usual, he was right. I remember saying to the gay-marriage proponents, “Why not a grandma-grandson couple if they love each other and want to be married?” And they’d say, “That’s disgusting.” And I’d say, “Maybe I think you’re disgusting.”

Jews did it for hundreds of years too. My ancestors did it too. Living in small villages, you often end up marrying cousins of some degree whether you know it or not.
Though it is technically probably not always incest in the examples I was thinking of. Second or third or fourth cousins marrying probably has happened millions of times in history, with little ill effect.

It hardly matters. There's an unending line of people with fetishes and perversions and whatnot, waiting to have their personal proclivity blessed by society and the State. I fully expect to see sadomasochism and fishhook suspensions and various tortures appear in the "approved list" before they're through.
