Yes, but it is, as the signs proclaim, "the World's Most Beautiful Freeway" that wends its way through the San Francisco Peninsula coastal mountains. I used to drive it every day and in the morning you would often see clouds hanging below the freeway grade in the valleys and in the evening the marine layer clouds would pile up on the coastal ridge. Practically no manmade structures in view for many, many miles, but this westernmost section of Hillsborough does jut out right next to the freeway. This house was painted white and later a light tan for most of its years and was nice to look at then.
I see, even though this gawdy property has a nice view of a freeway, it’s a “Beautiful Freeway”.
