I'll miss you!”
Then I'd look for the best deal for a replacement.

Which ever brand it was I'd bet she never has to purchase a
phone in the future.

In WWII Jews (and probably others), hid in in such locations to escape the Nazi’s. That was worth the effort. A phone? well, not so much.

I once shoved my whole arm into a fairly clean creek after my phone went for a swim, then decided a new phone would be kinda nice. Even putting a finger into a public shitpit, no way.

The story says she found the phone after about 20 minutes, then used it to call 911.
Don’t know about the dog.

I once read an article that said the number one repair Apple gets is for phones dropped in the toilet.

A good example of exposing the current state of society. She’s willing to risk her very life and wade thru poo to get that cell phone back so she can tell her friends what she’s up to.

There’s nothing on my phone valuable enough for that. I don’t think I’d do that for even a million $.
Gross.

And although it is the Daily Mail - she was not a “Putin Confidant,” she was not a hero of Snake Island, nor did it occur in Mariupol.

I dropped mine in my cats’ water bowl once, and followed the received wisdom of putting it in rice to dry out. Then it didn’t work with headphones.
A bit of rice had gotten into the headphone jack. I had to dig and pop it out with a toothpick.
Don’t put your phone in rice.

There was a story last fall about a woman sitting on the hole when a bear nipped her on the butt. She got out of the outhouse before the bear did.

Even worse than manure tanks are manure ponds that freeze over. Workers starting before dawn in the winter drive tractors onto the ponds by accident, fall through the ice, and drown in the manure. This has happened quite a few times in Southern Idaho.
The manure ponds are used to prevent manure run-off from polluting waterways. They aren't fenced in, either!
Agriculture is unbelievably dangerous work. More than 5,000 agricultural workers in the U.S. died on the job between 2003 and 2011. But nobody should die in a manure pond or tank.
