I remember videos of him coming out against the lockdown, mandatory shots, etc. He was supposed to have been running for Mayor of London last year. I liked his character DS James Hathaway in the long-running "Lewis" series. Until I looked at his Wikipedia page, I didn't know he had been married to actress Billie Piper, and has two sons with her.
Same with Carano; she got in trouble with the wokesters for mocking pronouns (amongst other things).
