You bring up a sore topic. Growing up many times I saw the ads for happy sea monkeys in the back of comic books. They had little crowns, for cryin’ out loud! It wasn’t till I was an adult I got some.
You can imagine my disappointment.

LOL, I have my own story about sea monkeys. Got a kit one year for Christmas and was growing them in a glass on our three cornered cabinet. My four year old brother thought it was kool aid and drank them.
