Sounds like something that they’re doing more testing for than normal?
I’ve been taking vitamin D3 for several years now, but thanks. 👍
metapneumovirus... you catch it from using Face Book.
I believe STRESS is a big problem in catching almost everything!
Pneumonia shots are needed more than flu or coof in my book. Gut feeling. Only 2 a year. Not sure if it should be every year.
Where is "around here"?
I’m not really that stressed. My wife caught it first, and then I caught it from her. For me it has been a severe sore throat. But my wife is very connected in this small town, and she says everyone has been catching this whatever it is. That most are ignoring it and it turns into pneumonia. Because at first it’s not that bad but then it just keeps slowly getting worse. I’m taking anti-biotics, which is clearing it up finally, but still not out of the effects completely, and neither is my wife.
Northern Michigan
And, per my doctor, being forced to wear masks.
It was the masking for covid that made this so deadly.
Per my doctor.
People died from it here. The blood is on their hands.
People were posting on fb about it.
My husband thinks it was about a year ago.
It was the most packed congestion ever and then, surprise, a throat that made you feel like you were swallowing razor blades.
I remember waking up in the morning and remembering it, and wishing I had not woken up.
My doctor and former healthcare coworkers in Gaylord said people with it were saying covid was nothing.
A senior and infant died at the local hospital from it.
It became so horrid because we wore masks.
Normally it would have just been a mild cold.
It was horrid because of masking for two years.
Normally it would have been no big deal.
Masking stopped us from being exposed regularly and often, so then it was like a first exposure.
Never wearing a mask again.
Where are you?
The severe sore throat sounds like you have it.
I remember having strep throat in high school. This was more painful by comparison, imo.
Just memories of course.
Hang in there.
It did no such thing. Sorry you bought into the mask BS.
It's not strep throat.
Because first came the stuffy head & sinuses
My father-in-law who is 98 & his much younger girlfriend had it & it turned into pneumonia & they both had to be hospitalized.
I think my wife got it from her dad & I got it from my wife.
Actually that was from my dr.
Sorry you don’t understand immunology 101.
I did graduate work at UMSL in immunology.
You?
If your “graduate work in immunology” taught you that cloth masks can filter viruses, you should probably ask for a refund of your tuition. And I don’t care what your doctor said, either.
Thank you.
Oh ok. You versus all of science, and btw, all of healthcare, every expert out there.
Forty yrs in healthcare.....
Sure. I guess you just be the one who knows.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Enjoy your closed ignorant mind. All of these surges of previously harmless viruses that used to only become serious for infants, yep, nothing to see here. And you know more than any of us. I lived those years. In the lab.
I remember when adults never got sick from these viruses, because, we didn’t wear masks or distance.
“In fact, there was a good chance that respiratory viruses in general have spread a lot more this year than the previous two years because people were dropping Covid-19 precautions such as face mask use as if they were dirty underwear.”
