I, too, have that. The LCP II can fit an after market laser, but not the original. Very disappointing. I do like its small size, though.

I have the LCP 380 as well. It has a double action trigger so I do keep a round chambered. I like the small size but the 380 round seems a little under powered.
I have a little problem racking the slide back because there is nothing to grip and I find I have to put the muzzle against a table top and push the stock forward.
But it is easy to conceal.

There are a few options for after market lasers for the LCP. You do need a holster that will accommodate it. Not an endorsement, but here's one: Laser
