Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin has announced €20 million in support for the UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA).
Mr. Martin made the announcement at a news conference following a meeting in Dublin with UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini.
He also urged countries that have suspended funding to resume and expand support to the agency.
UNRWA, which provides healthcare, education and other services, has been pitched into crisis since Israel alleged that 12 of its 13,000 staff in Gaza were involved in the 7 October Hamas-led attack on Israel that precipitated the war in Gaza. The allegations prompted a number of countries to suspend funding, including the United States, which is its largest donor.
Ireland contributed €18 million directly to UNRWA in 2023, part of €36 million provided to the Palestinian people. …

Sinn Fein is the most popular party in Ireland north and south they officially lead in the North now and could win in the south.
So the government knows which way the wind blows towards the Marxist-Leninist Sinn Fein IRA.
And a truck-load of shovels.
Stop giving them cash. If people need food and medicine, import that directly. Cash is fungible and probably a lot of it gets used in administrative costs and graft in purchasing from favored vendors.
I know that Hamas steals the food and often sells it in the black market at a high markup. Even food marked “not for sale”. UNRWA looks the other way at it. They look the other way at tunnels and weapons caches build on or near their properties. Some are even active members of terror groups that terrorize Israelis and their own people. UNRWA needs to be disbanded. It’s become an industry of itself and is not a responsible player. It’s irresponsible to consider Palestinians refugees after so many generations having been settled. No other people on earth have such perpetual refugee status. Once they are settled and raise another generation they are not refugees. It’s time to make them become responsible for themselves and not rely nearly entirely on foreign aid. They need to develop industries and export and exploit their natural gas reserves located off the coast and the like.
That’ll make things ten times worse if they get real power.

UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) is like no other refugee agency in the world. Most try to help “refugees” settle and get new citizenship or permanent visas. This agency, perpetuates a “poor, impoverished, class of people.”
Are UNRWA employees trying to resettle those in Gaza to other countries? Nope. Are they working hard to train them so they can move out of refuge camps?
So what is the purpose of UNRWA other than to keep people in refuge camps and perpetuate generations of people who are educated from cradle to grave that they are the victims of Israel and Zionists? Nothing really.
The UN is just world communist government thay should never have been allowed to exist.
The world is full of idiots. Unfortunately, too many are in important government positions.
Ireland committed national and racial suicide allowing the illegal invasion by muslims. There is genuine self hatred of all things Irish by the ruling class. It is very sad to see.
Ireland’s Muslim government hates the Jews and wants them dead.
