In this Texan's opinion, I don't think that more military will help.

When people are willing to risk their lifes to get in this nation, the problem will never be solved by simply trying to get them out. Same with the drug problem. As long as people desire the drug, it is going to find it's way over here.

Where is the solution? Look to Canada. Why don't we need massive military forces to keep them out?

I think the solution is in helping Mexico to be a truly free nation, rid of corruption. Help empower the Mexican citizens to oust all the corrupt government officials. Promote valid elections. Help Fox, as we all ready are, to clean up ranks from the top.

A truly free Mexico with a flourishing economy is the only solution. And by observing the Mexican people's desire to live as an American, it won't be that difficult to get them motivated to force change.

I am not asking our government to do a damn thing! I don't want them to supply military forces, money, or anything else. I just want them to get the hell out of the way and let thwe citizens handle the problem. We are in this situation BECAUSE of government policies. Please take a look at Post #52. All that is required is an sheriff who cares about his kids and grandkids future and has some balls. Remember when Sheriff Mack told the Feds that he wouldn't support the Brady Bill? There have been three sheriffs who have stood up against the feds. Why? Because the sheriff is the top LEO in his/her county. With citizen support he can do just about what ever he feels like when it comes to enforcing laws.
