Yes, I think you may be right....however, I am currently in Minnesota and I see another thing happening here that I think is just as shocking. I have NEVER seen so many Somali people in my life! The University Hospital and other places are full of them. The Cab companies have been taken over, it seems. And my uncle had his heart attack the very day that a city inspector came to tell him that he needed to cut his grass (which, btw, had just been cut!). The gentleman could barely speak english, was difficult to understand, and outraged my uncle when he told him how his grass should be cut! Of course, this is Minneapolis...liberals rule and stupidity is prospering. What I do not understand about this is the fact that becoming a city inspector is not something that is necessarily easy to do. So how can someone who doesn't hardly know the language get that job????? But that's another subject. :)

Somalis have been getting prefered treatment lately it seems. I'll tell you a little secret, "they go where the welfare dollar is the highest!"

That is why they flock to Mn,NY,NJ and Maine has a major influx. Kinda funny when you consider the difference in the weather!!!!

We are bringing in foreigners more and more in medical facilities because of shortages (esp nurses). This is just a bandaide approach. We need more classes. Where I live only about 30 applicants out of probably 300 qualified candidates are accepted a year. CD
