No, I certainly don't pretend to know everything, but watched this operation transpire realizing the HUGE risks that were being taken, listening to the mind-numbing spin spewing from Pentagon/CENTCOM briefings that everything's coming up roses, and then watching enemy forces exploiting the holes. It IS significant when strike forces are diverted to covering supply lines and timelines are thrown out the window.

War is about taking HUGE risks. Did you think it was something otherwise? There is no such thing as a PERFECT plan. Ours is working. If it goes radically off track for the reasons you mentioned then you will have been right.

It's a good thing that there wasn't any T.V. reporting during WW I and WW II ; elsewise, YOU and your ilk, would have been moaning and grouning about " our debacles " and defeats, second guessing the commands ( based on absolutely NO expertise at all ! ), within the first week.

The Vietnam War was REALLY the first televised war and because of T.V., it was people like YOU , who turned against this country ... oh and also because of the KGB, our own home grown COMMIES ( RED DIAPER BABIES and their parents and other fellow travellors ), aided and abbetted by you and dyour ilk, who imagine that they posess the ability to " understand " what's going on, when they don't.
