She [Askel5] was a real babe.

Babe? Another 'b' word is more apt. And it rhymes with "itch."

And today was a good day...

And this is coming from a moron who has a graphic of an atomic blast with the caption "And today was a good day..."

Human suffering comes in many forms, and it should never be celebrated.

Lemme' guess. She spanked you in a debate and used big words?

You should have hit her with the big V. That worked wonders for the forum.

Askel is a one-off, impossible to pigeon-hole and therefore easy to dismiss, according to the lazy or dull-witted. She is also complex, and perverse, frequently combative, and riven with unresolved contradictions. In all of this she differs from most others only in that both her virtues and vices are off-the-scale and more upfront than others dare to be. She's no plaster saint, but she is exquisite, fearless, and blessed with penetrating vision. Her banning is this forum's greatest shame and loss.
