I'm not a big fan of alliances.
Seperate groups working for the same goal can be more effective than one large conglomerate.
Once groups merge, they lose their individual voices, and take on the appearance of being part of a machine.
The groups will inherit any negative cynical perceptions people may have of the others.
Why allow the critics to attack and dismiss both FR and PW in one breath rather than two?
I refuse to join the likes of the jahilliyah PW! Not until they genuflect before Mahdi Jim Robinson, shall I join forces with those mukruh infidels! Those yazids will not know peace until our demands are met and the words of Ayatollah D-K are heeded! Only then shall the dawah of conservative principles be sent forth to the benighted masses of dhimmis and jahilliyah unbelievers.
BEWARE THE BLACK TURBAN YAZID!
Seriously-wow, that came as a surprise-I don't see any problems with this. If individuals from these two sites want to take it upon themselves to form political alliances, I don't think that we should do anything that would prevent them from doing so.
I agree with you. Coordinating protests and other actions can be extremely effective. I have also thought that diligent work toward good media attention will pay off BIG TIME; for now, the only sympathetic voice we have in the tv media is Fox, but we could work toward getting announcements posted on other bbs. and perhaps on various talk radio shows. Hannity, Rush, and Quinn and Rose come to mind. The Conservative Movement needs to get much more aggressive! Our greatest liability is no "mainstream media" voice. That needs to change.
