Some people think you can get through life just being cute. My 6yo is one of them, with some justfication (you can see her picture on the Tax-chick page ... the girl in the pink shirt.)
Being smart-alecky probably doesn't have as much career potential as cute ... although it works for P.J. O'Rourke.
It does work much better for six year olds than for adults.
And there are definitely certain TAS columnists/satirists who've honed being a smart aleck to a fine science.
Those pictures are all soooo cute.
I have a young niece who is a real handful.
I carry around her photo in my wallet.
