KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Monday – Unidentified vandals have destroyed most of the fifty prefabricated houses given by Russia as part of an aid package for Serbs left homeless after Kosovo’s March violence.

The houses had been assembled in the village of Svinjare near Vucitrn.

The International Press Centre in Kosovska Mitrovica reports that KFOR troops prevented a television crew from recording the damage.

Russia should invest more in Serbia proper instead, unlike Kosovo where there's a NATO & Kosovar policy to ethnically cleanse Serbs, destroy and steal their property, and/or to aid, abet and supervise this destruction. Russia should also bill the Kosova government for this destruction.

Not on this scale. And with foreign aid and RS money nearly all Bosnian Muslim homes have been rebuilt and they are returning. In a town near Doboj, the following article says that 95% of the Bosnian Muslim families have returned. 95%! Where in Croatia or the Muslim-Croat Federation or in Kosovo which have gotten BILLIONS in aid from the US and the international community is a Serb town where 95% of the families have returned.

Furthermore the RS government is spending its own budget on STREETLIGHTING and ASPHALTING roads there - with some money kicked in by the Greek government and Japan. Along with foreign dignitaries meeting with the Muslims to find out how things are going. WHERE IS THE SAME TREATMENT FOR SERBS? Nowhere!

The article:

Prime Minister Mikerevi* and Greek Ambassador Koukasis visited the returnee settlement *iv*ije near Doboj

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Dragan Mikerevi* and Ambassador of Greece in BiH Mihail Koukakis visited today the returnee settlement *iv*ije near Doboj, to which returned around 95 percent of pre-war Bosniac families.

Greek Ambassador Koukakis and the Director of “Elektro-Doboj” Milenko Cvijanovi* signed the Agreement on financing of construction of the street lightening in *iv*ije, for which the Greek Government allocated 19 000 KM, while the Municipal Assembly Doboj allocated 30 000 KM.

“Greek Government allocated these funds within the program of reconstruction of BiH”, said Koukakis and stressed that Greece would continue to support the reconstruction of BiH, particularly of those area at which the population is returning.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Dragan Mikerevi* announced the soon visit of Ambassadors of Sweden and Germany to the municipality Doboj, in order to familiarize with problems of returnees.

Government of the Republic of Srpska, with assistance of the Government of Japan, provided earlier funds for asphalting of the road through *iv*ije, in length of 2200 meters. Besides construction of the street lightening, there is still remaining to build the sewage network.

The fact that they are spending money on street lighting and paving roads means the homes have been rebuilt. Where is anyone doing half this much for refugee Serbs?

Boo freakin' hoo.

And once again we see FR's leading bigot, the Serb-hating Islamonazi, Ol'BJ displaying his version of compassion for the Christian Serbs which he claims to love.

Ah, what a true display of Christian brotherhood! LOL! (Note: here's why he prattles on about the fact that Christians don't participate in what allegedly occurred in Srebrenica, although he know full well that the Serbs involved in that weren't Christians but that the Serbs victimized in Kosovo and Bosnia ARE CHRISTIANS). Selective awareness, perhaps?

As a recap, remember that Arkan was a criminal who did bad things and, since he was a Serb, that means that all Serbs everywhere shall have no rights whatsoever from now until the end of time! So sayeth Ol'BJ, anyway.

Thanks for the ping FormerLib. Actually I find it rather "amusing" to read about this destruction the same day that I read this article:

"Kosovo PM: Whatever it takes for refugees' return to Kosovo.

Marking the World Refugee Day in Kosovo, Kosovo Prime Minister Mr. Bajram Rexhepi sent a message to all the refugees from Kosovo and promised that he will do whatever it takes to make it possible for them to return to their homes in Kosovo.

"I want to assure everybody that this is an honest appeal for return to all of those who desire to live within the equals, regardless of the national, religious or racial background. Kosovo has room for all of its citizens" Rexhepi said in his message.

"As the World Refugee Day is approaching, I want to stress one more time that your hopes for return are not only dreams. We will do whatever is possible to make it possible for all of those who left Kosovo to return to their homes, places they used to call homes, cities, villages, return to their relatives and friends, return there where they used to live before" he continued.

Rexhepi mentioned his personal engagements in meetings with minorities in different municipalities. During these meetings, he encouraged the return and asked the local residents to contribute in building interethnic harmony and re-building the properties damaged during the war and during the riots of March.

He also mentioned the intensive work that his cabinet is doing in making sure that the Ashkali and Roma minority feel protected in Kosovo. Roma and Ashkali community of Kosovo have been complaining that they do feel threatened and isolated in Kosovo. Some members of those communities have been targeted for cooperating with Serbian military during Kosovo's ethnic cleansing campaign lead by the regime of Slobodan Milosevic.

PM Rexhepi concluded his statement by thanking all of those who opened their homes and assisted the refugees in the times of crisis in the past and present."

"he encouraged the return and asked the local residents to contribute in building interethnic harmony and re-building the properties damaged during the war and during the riots of March."

Obviously no one is listening to him.

Just caught this online...on an encouraging note:
"EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana stated in connection with the talks with the chairman of the Serbian Democratic Party Boris Tadic, that “the EU will not be full until Serbia as a very important country becomes a member of the European Union”, Serbian Fonet Agency reported."

I'm sorry but i'm well aware of the allocation of funds distribution for the M-C Fed v. the RS. There is extreme prejudice against the Serbs of occupied Bosna. You ever go and look without any hatred vile you display and view the broken and burned out churches left unrepaired while there are two brand new muslim mosques built within 500m of the destroyed church?

How about Tuzla? What about the ruined Serbian church of Tuzla, still unrepaired with graffiti? Yet, mosques are built.

No Serbian churches are rebuilt or repaired that I have seen in the Muslim-Cr Fed. Whereas, in the RS, brand new mosques are being put up, one extremely large one is on the outskirts of Eastern Banja Luka, main road to Celinac along the river.

The Islamic terrorists who messed with the US in 9/11 have caused us to go after them. We have already killed more than 30,000 of them in Afghanistan, and Iraq The US MUST approve of other nations military to fight and destroy these fanatics too, otherwise we would appear to be hypocrites. In other words, Islamic terrorists in Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia, and Russia are all bad people and must be beaten and killed. Any one who fights these bastards should be our friend. To side with the Islamic terrorists is to be a traitor, and a hypocrite. Clinton, NATO, and Wesley Clark sided with the terrorists in the Bosnia Kosovo wars, is our current president siding with the terrorists too?

"Obviously no one is listening to him."

He's a liar an insincere and they read him well. These statements are for PR. This Rexhepi is a decapitator. He cut off the heads of Serb soldiers with an expert surgeon's hand. He was the only surgeon in the town where Serb heads were cut off with such professional precision. Criminals such as he are propped up by NATO and the international community to help commit their crime of stealing Kosovo and ethnically cleansing all Serbs.

I have to admit joan that when I saw ""Obviously no one is listening to him."" in your reply, my first thought was of RBJ. That statement and "He's a liar an insincere and they read him well" suit him perfectly as well as the Kosovo "Prime Minister". :)

I could write a lengthy treatise on the psychology of race hate, projection, and blaming the Muslims for crimes committed against Muslims (which is the bread and butter of Serbocrazy race hate on Free Republic) but, for verbal economy, "boo freakin' hoo" sums up the argument just as well. It gets you purple with rage half a planet away, with only three words needs be typed.

And it clearly works.
