In other words: "Entrepreneurship should be criminalized."

FDR proposed exactly the same thing in the 1930's. I think his ceiling was somewhere around 250K. There is a reason we call them "Leftists" you know.

They should be asked how many of the DUmmies made more than $250K, and how many of those sent that difference to the "poor".

Of course, there would be exemptions for "artists" from Hollywood.

Eleanor attended Communist Youth group meetings.

The Klintoon administration floated the idea of a 100% tax rate on everything above a certain point (I think it was only $100K) and they actually calculated how much revenue it would bring in! As if people would keep working ang give it ALL to them!

After readng about 15 posts I was 1/2 laughing and 1/2 mad. One dolt proposed an 80% tax rate is you're really rich. What an asshat.

I got a better idea. No exec takes home more than he pays to the average worker. Execs can earn any amount; but, their net takehome can be no more than the average worker - accomplishable by diverting the overage into a trust that is vested in the same way they vest employees in retirement plans and drawn from only for business use - thus allowing for enterprenurial use of the funds while keeping the execs understanding what they force their workers to deal with. It doesn't redistribute. It doesn't remove control from the individual. It leaves funds available for business use - just keeps things a little more real by making the execs live day to day on what their employees have to live on. I think it would teach a healthy respect pretty quickly. Just an idea though. Any thoughts?

Yea, and Franklin attend adult ones - as in the Yalta conference. FDR was a communist, pure an simple. One wonders if it was ideological or some sort of self loathing pathology. One sick puppy, FDR. We live with his mess to this day.

"I got a better idea. No exec takes home more than he pays to the average worker."

Then explain to me why I should even have a business.

I work 60-70 hours a week. My 9 employees work forty.

I put my money into this business and took a big risk getting it off the ground. Now you tell me I should make exactly the same as my employee's?

I would just close my business, put 9 people out of work, and go to work for someone. Who would then probably close his business for the same reasons.

Is this what you had in mind?
