I have a group called Men's Issues Online that may be of interest to users of the Free Republic (as many who are interested in the men's movement tend to be conservative or independent).
Here is a description of the group from my homepage:
Men's Issues Online covers a broad variety of issues affecting men, including men's health and safety, divorce and custody, reproductive rights, media bias, workplace issues, male only selective service, domestic violence against men, education, unequal sentencing, and double standards against men.
MIO is intended to be an impetus to online and offline activism for men's advocates (of both sexes), in order to address these issues. It is not intended to be anti-woman, but rather seeks to treat men and women as individuals while eliminating the misandry (hatred of men) promulgated by gender and radical feminists. MIO also recognizes that misandry crosses national, racial, and ethnic lines, and is hence part of an international community of pro-male websites.
Check out the 'Links' section for links to other valuable online resources for men and men's advocates. This includes folders for contacting the media and politicians, as well as reference material. The 'Files' section includes the brochure What are Mens Issues? as well as flyers on domestic violence against men.
