The Democrat Party's Watergate
The Baby Seal Club ^ | 9-10-2004 | Titus Quinctius Cincinnatus

This would be tremendous if it turns out to be the case. You would have forged documents, somehow or another appearing in the hands of DNC staffers, turned over to the Kerry campaign, who then slips them to CBS (Kerry's best friend in the mainstream media) so that they can be used as "damning evidence" against President Bush by Dan Rather on one of the premiere investigative news shows in America.

This, my friends, could be the Democrat party's Watergate. Think about it, though there are obvious differences between the two scenarios, there are a lot of fundamental conceptual similarities....

> Hard to believe that Democrats could be so Stupid ...

And that's why this is NOT a Rove sting (or even a
Hillary or Nader sting).

No one could have expected forgeries this poor to
make it so far.

This is either a very clumsy Dem-side forgery (the
sort of thing I'd expect from Barnes, for example),
or it's a typical prankster hoax that escaped into
the wild and was mistaken for actual game by
DNC/Kerry/CBS people blinded by either hate of Bush
and/or lust for power.

And that the clown holding the bag when the stink
bomb exploded was Dan Rather ... priceless.

This just goes to show Democrats are not concerned in what is best for the country. They cannot think what would be of best interest for their children.

They only hate President Bush for what VALUES this person holds. They figure that they must attack him because they lack any values at all and would do anything to try and bring down someone to their level.

I'm sorry to unload like this, but I've been boiling inside with this question for 2 days:

WHERE IS McCAIN???

I thought he was so opposed to questioning someone's military service and so forth? He sure came out swinging when it was the SBVT group exposing Kerry for the unadulterated fraud and opportunist that he is.

My perception is that McCain is waiting and biding his time.

John has not been totally against the SWiftVets. Once they got past talking about the medals and began airing ads on Kerry's anti-war activism you noticed McCain's criticism of the ads abruptly ceased. His point was he didn't think they should make an issue out of what Kerry did in Vietnam, but the anti-war stuff was legitimate.

McCain's main focus is totally on NOW, the war on Terror. When he gave his RNC speech, how many times did he mention Vietnam?

McCain knows John Kerry. That is why he is supporting Bush for Commander In Chief. He emphasized that in his speech. He likes Bush's recored over the past 4 years and as far as this fiery, opinionated Senator is concerned all this 30 years old stuff should just go the heck away.

But now, if it is proven that a key Democratic Kerry supporter made false testimony and that false documents were provided by the DNC to CBS to smear Bush and turn the national dialogue back 30 years to the TANG issue AGAIN.....

Don't worry. You will hear from Senator McCain on this. He is SICK AND TIRED of Vietnam and the TANG issue and is well aware it is only one party that keeps bringing it up. And if they turned to forgery and lying to bring the issue up again, you may very well see Sen. McCain lose it when he talks about it.

My perception is that Sen. McCain is off somewhere in a quiet room in his slow burn mode. When he reaches ignition state the whole country will know it.
