John Kerry just send out a broadcast email with this message for his supporters who are demanding that he protest the Ohio vote.
Tomorrow, members of Congress will meet to certify the results of the 2004 presidential election. I will not be taking part in a formal protest of the Ohio Electors.
Despite widespread reports of irregularities, questionable practices by some election officials and instances of lawful voters being denied the right to vote, our legal teams on the ground have found no evidence that would change the outcome of the election.
This has already angered his liberal base at Daily Kos. While Kerry wont contest the Ohio vote, you can still sign the petition demanding other Democratic Senators contest the vote here.
Awwww...poor DUmmies. Their prince never saved them. Awww.
The Dems want to make sure every vote counts and every vote is counted, so long as the votes are only in Ohio.
Kerry has changed his course by 720 degrees.
Yep, DU despises Kerry. And "I'm Going Green" is a common refrain.
Nice smear job by Kerry on the Ohio Election process, though. B*st*rd. He didn't even have the guts to name names, but we all know it was a slap at Blackwell.
About d*** time!
The DUmmies will start claiming Kerry is working for Karl Rove and is another member of the vast rightwing conspiracy. Thus, they never had a real democratic candidate, and the whole election should be done over. Genius!
Bottom line he is lining up to run in 2008, he is trying to look gracious......
Can`t this man make one statement that does`nt take two opposing sides of an issue.
***Despite widespread reports of irregularities, questionable practices by some election officials and instances of lawful voters being denied the right to vote,***
1. He takes a cheap shot at Ohio
2. No where does he ask others not to contest it.
3. He is just distancing himself from the thing so when
he runs again he can say he played clean.
Kerry :POS 1st. last and always.
On DU there is a thread about the message Kerry has for them if you "read between the lines!" I BELIEVE!
