Larry may think the song is corny, but he's going to be astonished at how many yellow ribbons there are for the troops!

Okay, so they're not tied around the old oak tree -- they're magnetic and they're stuck to cars, and they're not yellow, all of them, some of them are camo, whatever that's about.

But there are more than hundreds ... there are hundreds of thousands!

Thank God for brave men and women who are willing to stand in harm's way between their loved homes and the war's desolation.

How's the song go?...I've done my time I'm coming home....(lol)

Yes, we should bring that song back. We do have yellow ribbons everywhere, why not make a big package of it all?

Thanks.
I had a brother-in-law who was a Seabees in WWII, toughest sob I ever met. Great guy but he had...issues with Japan. I bought a new subaru, not only would he not allow it in hs driveway, but not even in front of his house. I had to park it down the street.

Hey FRiends...Larry had time to get online and check us out.
I think he's impressed, but then, I'm just a touched biased.
God Bless everyone of you.

Hey Bro,
I went to FreeRepublic and checked it out!!!
Bravo-Zulu to ya'!!! I had no idea the support extended out that far!!! You cannot imagine how important it is to have the support of our "fellow Americans"

There's no way we could do what we have to, without all the fine folks back home making the sacrifices they do!!!!
I can assure you....we're all proud to be an American!!!
The greatest people "AND" the greatest nation in the world!!
Thanks Bob!!!
God Bless!!!
Looking forward to seeing you soon!!!!
Larry

In Their Hands

Their daily jobs are risky,
But it is what they do.
They risk their lives for others,
Protecting me and you.
They fight fires and they fight crooks,
They fight our foreign foes.
When no fight is going on,
They still stay on their toes.
They train and wait, wait and train,
Praying they won’t need it.
But danger always rears its head,
Then they go defeat it.
A simpler life, they could lead,
But that’s not in their plans.
Freedom’s future one could say,
Is resting in their hands.

Could someone in sunny LA find the article Larry is referring to in his email?

I'll pay postage if someone can send me a copy of the paper.

Thanks

Seabees Keep Their Fighting Spirit

I made the Los Angeles Times. Imagine that!!!!
Check out the above article by Tony Perry in today's, February 4, 2005 edition.
