Time to clean house. Many so-called educators view their positions as a chance to work twenty hours a week for $100,000 per year, while exempting them from any criticism under the guise of academic freedom.

The reason for a diploma is that it provides proof that the individual has mastered a defined body of knowledge. Professors exist for the purpose of teaching this body of knowledge, not using their class as a soapbox for whatever pops into their heads. Churchill may take down a system by refusing to go quietly, although the system he takes down may not be the one he intends. Here's hoping that he's the Mary Mapes of higher education.
