This Catholic says "Thanks be to God!" for our Baptist brothers in Florida who aren't afraid to stand for life and truth.

"He told the deacon he would no longer make donations to the church. "
So its about the MONEY!

This was with respect to church discipline.
"loosed in heaven..." Think, HiTech. Think. The Lord talks to us in riddles, in puzzles. Dig down beneath the Calvary Chapel cliches and consider what HE ACTUALLY SAID.

I have never followed a televangelist, so that strawman of yours falls on the pits of hell forthwith.
However, I have both read and listened to the Scriptures all the way through several times. It is abundantly clear that who vainly say "Lord, Lord" in Jesus' picture, are those who are content with externals. Remember, the context of preaching among the Pharisees, who were experts in the externals.

Yes, in heaven. That's where the saved are already seated, whether they are undergoing painful discipline or enjoying a blameless walk.

"vomit" -- believe it or not. It is to bring forth because of compelling force.
Thanks for that. It proves the Lord's point even more powerfully. What is more "fearful" than to be "vomit" out the great working of the Lord in you? Everyone in the Bible who came close to the Lord's presence had to be assured "fear not." His presence is might, worthy of fear, and in fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

She should have voted the other way then.
If what you said is the case, and it well may be, She is like the child that murderers both of his/her parents and then wants to throw themselves on the mercy of the court because they are orphans.
Maybe she does.
She should do what Judas did after he betrayed Jsesu and received his 30 pieces of gold.

But basically, it has no application in the case of the damned, as you would have earlier had it have. They have no salvation to work out.
I think some overzealous Christians fling hellfire and brimstone around a bit too indiscriminately. It just creates a mess and confusion.

This Catholic agrees with you! And "Thanks be to God"
for Rabbi Shmuley Boteach who also isn't afraid to stand
for life and truth!

Yes, but few actually admit it.

who are content with externals.
Sorry, but this sounds like pop jargon. Jesus told us "we shall know them by their fruits." Are fruits externals or internals or both? You have failed to respond to the primary points. Those who walk with the Lord have the keys of heaven, the power to loose on earth and in Heaven. You contend that point--and you should not.

Greer's attendance at church began to decline when an official Florida Baptist State Convention publication, the Florida Baptist Witness, began running articles critical of Greer's decision.
Calvary Baptist Church places its newsletters inside the Witness magazine and sends it to its 1,500 members, including Greer.
His evil was being made public and he was right to leave. Perhaps his next stop will be hell in the near future.

There's no need to wish hell on this judge. He's creating his own hell on this earth by CHOICE.

Why don't they just go in and take Terri out - she is being murdered.
Take her out of Florida, out of the country if necessary.
I'm not sorry he left that church.

The pastor told Baptist Press he had offered to meet with Greer and received the letter as a response. Lends new meaning to the expression hell bent - when one can sign a death warrant for an innocent person whose only fault is to be incapacitated.

Starve him to death.
Absolutely. I heard him say once that he would not want to live this way. And, of course, he can not do his job effectively.
He is handicapped - surely he is on the do-away-with list by now (unless he tows the euthansia water jugs).

A caller into our local talk radio host here in Memphis posed this thought too. How can greer judge this case since he is legally blind and all the evidence that Terri is not in a vegitative state is visual?

"We should pray for Judge Greer."
I do, I pray he rots in hell or any place worse, right alongside George Felos and Michael Schiavo.
