BREAKING: Coalition Calls Upon Bush to Save Schiavo's Life by Using Police Powers

The judges in this country overstep THEIR limits whenever they stand in contempt of Congress.

We are almost IN a dictatorship in this country, but it's not the President, and it's not the Congress - it's the liberal judges (read Clinton appointees) who are establishing a dictatorship bent upon setting socialist, liberal law in legal stone without governmental legislation by representatives duly elected by the people.

No, police force is not the way. Ann Coulter and I finally disagree on something.

We all shall die someday. This issue is in the hands of the Almighty. If you do not believe that, and you have not believed that from the events of the last few weeks, then I cannot convince you of anything.

To use police powers now would be akin to play "thug." Like it or not, that is what it would become. If you all think you are above perceptions, I ask you, did not Christ Himself understand this?

It will be as it will be, as difficult as that may sound. Come Easter Sunday, Terri may be alive, or dead. Perhaps she may become a precious symbol of what Christ did for us on the Cross. I myself believe that is God's plan. And Terri will be in Paradise.

I am resolved already that she will not be with us much longer. My hope is that she doesn't suffer terribly.
The Left consoles themselves saying that to die of starvation and dehydration is euphoric experience. Yeah, right. Judge Greer, please fast and don't drink for _____ (fill in the blank with however long Terri goes without before she expires), and let me know how euphoric it is, okay??
I think that Michael Shiavo may be an underhanded snake. I have thought about this and have tried to use the golden rule of thumb. What if I was in Michael's situation (assuming he has NOT done anything underhanded)? I would have long ago relented and handed her over to her parents, and let them deal with her the best they could and decide for her what was best. There is NO DAM* WAY in he**, I would have dragged this out like he did digging his heels in and going against the wishes of Terri's Mom and Dad. I would have told them "Mom and Dad, I'm so sorry for what Terri has gone through. If you want to take over responsibility for her, I'll sign the papers authorizing that." And I would have told them SQUARELY what Terri's expressed wishes were regarding being kept alive or allowed to pass on. If she never told me one way or the other, I would have told them that.
I don't think Michael cares one BIT about Terri - and hasn't for a long time ("is that bi*ch dead, yet?") - and I think he may have had some underhanded part in her situation. But that's only speculation, of course. We'll probably never know for sure, now that Terri is being sent to her starvation / dehydration death by these folks.

I didn't think Reno acted with clear authority, and she didn't, so at least Elian is not a "polar opposite." You could argue that an order to snatch Elian was inevitable; I'd argue that given enough time, which doesn't exist, Congress woud have passed a "save Terri" law using mandataory language the courts would have to obey or literally set off a constitutional crisis. Two "wrongs" don't make a right, but it would be hard for those who supported snatching Elian before the system played out to gripe about snatching Terri. Not that they've ever worried about consistency.
