Another spin I hear lately is regarding the President's low poll numbers. They are attributing it to him trying to SAVE Terri's life. I attribute it more to people's perception that he hasn't done ENOUGH to save Terri's life.

Jeb Bush and Jaywalking !!!

If a little baby crawled out into a busy highway and sat in
the middle of the road, I'm quite sure that Governor Bush
would risk a jaywalking ticket to rush into the street and
save the child even if the Don't Walk sign was flashing !!!

Terri is an innocent and helpless child right now. Therefore, she
desperately needs someone to bravely risk arrest for jaywalking
to save her life from that evil mob of monsters who are blatantly
attempting to murder her ... in plain view of the entire world !!!

You have nailed it. People love Bush because, despite his various flaws, he is not afraid to act on principle.

Take that away and the magic is gone. Both Bushes have been revealed as weak before a minor judge in a minor court.

I think you are correct. The perception definitely is that he (and his brother, Jeb) actually have the power to stop this judicial murder. I haven't any idea if this perception is right, and supported by legal facts, but there are a lot of very frustrated Terri supporters all over this country (like me), who are wringing our hands in minute-by-minute despair that she is being treated in such an inhumane manner, while the president and governor remain inactive and mostly silent, except for Jeb having said that he "won't exceed his powers."

why Michael Schiavo is so adamantly pressing to subject his wife to this much-anticipated “mercy killing.” Surely it’s not for the $1 million in medical malpractice suit awards which he stands to inherit after Terri’s death. Let’s not be too cynical.

Someone said today, on one of the talk shows, that her parents were angry with Michael cause he wouldnt share the millions he had received in the malpractice suit.

None of us really know the whole truth only the people involved do, but as to whatever suits he may file afterwards you can bet he wants the book deals etc.

I want the evidence that shows that Terri may have been physically abused investigated to its fullest when they are done killing her.If the evidence proves that her pigheaded husband caused her injuries then he should go to prison along with his lawyers and the judge who were his accomplices.The relentless push to kill Terri is not being done out of loyalty and love for Terri but for the self preservation of the dirty bastards who are killing her.Jeb Bush needs to do more for Terri after she's gone then he's doing for her now.
