New Hampshire votes to maintain school gun freedom

The New Hampshire House voted overwhelmingly to kill a gun control bill which would have restricted the possession of guns on public school property. NH will continue to be one of a tiny handful of states that still respects the 2nd Amendment in and around schools.

I and other Free Staters had a chance to testify against this bill back when it was in committee and won the hearing's only standing ovation! The committee voted our way narrowly, recommending 7-6 that the "control freak" bill was "inexpedient to legislate." That enabled yesterday's stunning victory in the House.

Sad that the state is trending left.

Hope they can hold on to this freedom for a while.

These Orwellian Laws need to be overturned in the other states as well.

It's past time to go on the Offensive.

"Hope they can hold on to this freedom for a while."

Well, the intent is to hold on to it forever. Move here and help us, if you like...it may be the last place left where an individual can really make a big difference for freedom.

Two. They're just going about it differently in Montana.

I prefer the folks in Montana. Just a normal prejudice us ranchers have, I guess.

Yes, I will be buying property there.

You in touch with the FWA offshoot of the FSP? Either way, I reckon we're likely to end up as neighbors. Oh yeah, and do you have one of these?

I am not sure the state is trending left. The last democrat victory was in large measure a result of anger toward exGovernor Benson...over a number of disparate issues.
