Didn't you know, that spousal murder is legal?
Judge Greer and a bunch of FReepers said so.
After all, preventing someone from murdering their spouse is "government intervention" and that is bad, but murder is OK, as long as you don't murder strangers, only your spouse.

Terri wasn't the first attempt at spouse murder (read up
on Michael Martin) nor I fear, will she be the last.
I think, decades ago, truly no one outside the family was
involved or knew much, if anything about such cases, back
when opiates were OTC, etc. Nor, in instances where mere
fatigue on the part of caretakers was involved. But we
as a society did not officially condone those deaths. Now
we are, meaning us as the body politic, through the decrees
of judges and the inaction of the executive. G-d save us all.
