Dummy or Dummie? Well, I like DUmmie. . . . I like the ie ending.

You know, when I first started DUFUing last fall, I used the "-y" ending. But as I saw that PJ had a certain "thang" going here that was distinctive, I switched to his "-ie" ending. And I've never looked back. You too will be glad you've gone to the "-ie," mark my words.

And please remember to always capitalize the "U" in "DUmmie."

I've been known to use "DUmbasses" on occasion. Come to think of it, they'd probably embrace that too. ("I AM a DUmbass!" "No, ME! I'M a DUmbass!") :)

And I agree.... there's just something.... appropriate about the "ie" as opposed to the "y".
