How come they pulled #39?
Good question. It was a long compilation of the evidence for "macroevolution" which several posters on this thread falsely implied didn't exist. I have posted it on previous threads when appropriate as well, without incident.
Looking it over, I *think* I've spotted the part that someone might have objected to, although I feel it was a valid and supportable observation about how the behavior of certain people does not seem consistent with their claimed beliefs -- quite the contrary, in fact. Nonetheless, the manner in which it was expressed could be considered offensive to some, even though my intent was to get them to very seriously think about their actions (and how it reflects on conservatism), not to offend or inflame.
Nonetheless, I have removed that portion of my post and immediately after this message I will be reposting the informational portions of it, which are quite on-topic to the discussion in the current thread, and directly respond to points made by other posters.
I'm pinging the Moderators to let them know a) I'm not trying to "sneak" a removed post back onto the forum, I'm just trying to post the unobjectionable parts after removing the parts I *think* the Moderators objected to, and b) if I'm mistaken about the part they originally took issue with, could someone please let me know what they do object to? If I've crossed some sort of line without realizing it, it would be nice to know what that line might be.
How was my post worse than the times (and I've lost count) that some Freeper or another stated that I was destined for Hell because I corrected their misconceptions about biology?
...and what was wrong with the "Odin" cartoon posted by another Freeper? It was removed too. Sheesh. Like those two posts were worse than (or even anywhere near as bad as) some of the more direct personal attacks thrown by the "other side" on this thread towards specific Freepers?
