Al-Qaeda and Islam To Take Over World? - (is the West awake yet?)

With the London bombings, the world terrorist organizations have told us that they have no intention of stopping. They have notified us, in no uncertain terms, that their attacks on all western countries will continue. Still blaming virtually everything on Israel and “Israeli Zionism”, it is the Muslims who are actually diligently working to take over the world and are bound and determined to force it into a repressive Islamic society.

They have been sending all of us this message, for years. Yet, much of the world still blames these attacks on the ‘comfortable excuse’…the liberation of Iraq. This is madness.

When the USS Cole was attacked by terrorists in Yemen, we were not in Iraq. When the first Twin Towers’ attack occurred, we were not in Iraq. When the 9/11 catastrophic terrorist attacks occurred, we were not in Iraq. However, refusing to learn the lessons of even recent history, there are still those who blame everything on something that has nothing to do with anything.

The Islamo-fascist gauntlets were thrown down many generations ago. Few in the civilized western countries paid any real attention. Then, finally and inescapably the Islam-will-take-over-and-rule-the-world-movement began in earnest. Are you listening and really hearing their intentions, now? If not, you are doomed to being crushed by an Islamic state.

Even though it has little-to-nothing to do with Islam’s true goals, there will still be those who will blame the United States; for its freeing Iraq from a tyrant and bringing the Iraqis democracy. These will continue to do so until they are all wearing Muslim garb, praying 5 times a day to Allah and women are wearing burkas. These appeasers, undereducated and politically-correct individuals will continue to ignore evil and refuse to even admit that it actually exists.

Evil does exist. We saw it employ its tactics, again, Thursday July 7, 2005. There is no longer a choice for the world. We either fight evil or we die. And if we choose death, the death of liberty, human accomplishment and any and all hope for the future of this planet dies with us. Do you at last see evil for what it is, or will you continue to stubbornly keep you heads stuck in the sand? Freedom was never free.

It requires vigilance, the willingness to fight for it and the resolve to persist until the war is won. If not, we have already lost to tyranny and subjugation and there will neither be a society nor a world left in which living is possible.

Islamic Community in North America: Prospects and Problems

Introduction

History of Islam and Muslims in North America is not new. Muslims have come to the American shores several times. There is documentation of their journey to America prior to Columbus. Muslims sailed from Spain and Africa hence reaching central and South America. It appears that Columbus also made use of the Muslim expertise on his voyage. In the 19th century, Muslims emigrated from the colonized Middle East and with Bolshevik revolution from Central Asia. However, the effect of these early arrivals did not last long. Muslims also came in the hulls of slave ships from Africa. They were deprived of their religion, language and civilization and all else that gave them their distinct identity. Perhaps it is due to this historical past, that African Americans in an effort to re-establish their identity are drawn to Islam more than any other faith or ideology.

The estimate of the Muslim population in the U.S.A. and Canada vary from 8 to 10 million. Thus, they have or will soon surpass the Jews, the second religious majority in these countries. The exact proportions are not known. It appears that African-Americans now constitute over 40% of American Muslims. The immigrants as a whole constitute the largest group; about 25% of them are South Asians, and approximately 12% from the Arab descent.

In its harmonious interplay of faith with reason, its vision coordinates the sacred and the secular into a comprehensive whole. Due to Islam’s stress on equality and brotherhood of its community, it has special appeal for the historically oppressed.

Muslim Americans not only need to continue, but also constantly exceed in education and research so that their future generations are ready to shoulder the responsibility of a great Islamic society.

American Muslims as citizens should pay special attention to the collective organizations in the U.S. They should be involved in national and international relations of this country and in its policies. They need to acquaint themselves with the working of its system and how they could influence them effectively, so that it understands their concerns and their issues and is also sympathetic to the cause of the Ummah. There is much of common ground between the Ummah, America and its people. The American Muslims need to learn from other established communities -- particularly the American Jews, who have successfully manipulated this powerful country to their specific interests. They could thus, lead America to its own greater good which is the friendship of a larger Ummah with its strategic importance and vast resources, instead of the conflict and clash of civilizations as predicted by others.

They should help others (and this includes those who are not Muslim), be interested in their problems and help them in the solution or resolution of these problems on the basis of common good (maruf). It is of paramount importance that they form alliances and coalitions with other groups of the American society who aspire to similar ideals. Muslims could thus, introduce their compatriots to Islam and show them how Islam tackles moral, social and spiritual problems of their society and of the world. The present world is devoid of any universal ideal or message. It is the duty of Muslims to present it with Islam, demonstrating that it is the better system for mankind.

There is much that Muslim Americans can impart to the American Society. Muslims now constitute a minority but theirs is a value-driven community sharing a faith that is pro-family, pro-education, anti-racist, law-abiding and anti-crime. Thus, they have a lot to contribute to a society where families are breaking apart and are ridden with crime, violence, drugs and racial tension. Among Muslims, there are no Arab, Pakistani, and Somalian, Senegalese or Indonesian ghettos in America. The African-American community has been brought to their present level by the prevailing injustices and societal inequities. Still the Muslims living in disadvantaged communities are often the lights for these areas as they stand for family, education, cleanliness, chastity, self-sufficiency and zero tolerance towards drug infestation and the mental slavery that blights others. Muslims are among the best educated in the whole country and have the lowest crime rate. In their commitment to serve God and mankind, Muslims doctors, lawyers, teachers, accountants and businessmen are serving the inner-city as well as rural areas -- localities that are not attractive to any one else.

In their dealings with the locals, they should have special regard for them, especially the African-Americans, giving them due respect and understanding.

For Islam to prevail in North America, it is essential that a substantial number of Muslims are committed to Islam. The community must exhibit substantial unity and produce its own local leaders. The current demographics of American Muslims shows that it is a young community, and as discussed above, the majority of it comprises of immigrants, and of the local converts a majority are African American.

Muslims must break away from being on the fringes and acquaint themselves thoroughly with the mainstream American-Canadian societies. It is also their responsibility to bring about a change in the common perception that Islam in Western lands is an alien religion; a perception that is promoted by the constant media stereotyping.

A remarkable phenomenon of the first half of the 20th century was cultural Westernization of the Muslim world. This has been reciprocated by demographic Islamization of the Western world in the second half. Muslim migration to the West and conversions to Islam are consolidating Islamic presence in the West.

The drastic change in the world order with the collapse of the Soviet Union and emergence of the U.S. as the dominant world power and its increasing entanglement in Muslim lands have transformed the American Muslims from an exotic to a noteworthy community which is on rapid expansion. The Muslim Americans have the moral sensitivity; they must now provide the moral leadership to the American society. They could thus utilize their position to sensitize the American public opinion to Muslim history and their problems. And, a need for a more enlightened and humane approach towards the Muslim world.

Muslims in America have come a long way from excluding themselves from the American scene; being on the receiving end of negativity; or at the most adopting a reactive posture. The impetus started in the mid eighties, and in the nineties along with a proliferation of their institutions, when they adopted a more pro-active approach. Now they have established initial political access to the White House, the State Department and the Congress, they still have to learn how to leverage their increased visibility and access in a way that results in their inclusion in policy discussions, shaping policy and impact the American public opinion, by becoming an influential constituency.

Sounds like they have a plan.
