Personally, I recommend getting a cable router. The ones I've seen have a built-in firewall that makes your computer invisible to outside probes.

Then, you won't have to screw around with more than a good anti-virus program. Just don't click on anything you aren't sure about.

Does the cable router connect into the Ethernet connection? And why can't I download while using Zone Alarm?
