Tell me about it! I was waiting in the base pharmacy to get my husband's Rx refilled, sitting there trying to convince myself how much I just enjoyed all this knitting I was doing, when my ears zeroed in a the conversation of an older gentleman w/ his friend who were both not to far from me.
"( soft chuckle)... looks like we bit off more than we could chew this year..." said the older event. "Linda [his wife, I assume] and I just got back from 17 days in Tuscany...Flew into Rome, rented a car and just took off...And first part of November to Miami, and after stopping off in... [some Caribbean island. Couldn't make it out.]... Then we're taking a cruise around S. America. 21 days. We did that about 3 years ago. Linda just wanted to see if anything changed...But you know how she loves cruising..." [exit talkers]
I firmly sit my knitting down in my lap, and glared at my husband, who, feeling my death ray stare on the side of his head, put down his book, looked at me and said: "What??"
