I just heard today about a family being rescued from their attic by way of a ham radio. Therefore this might indeed be tin foil hat material.

I did Oh Canada about tainted Arkansas prisoner blood. I think I might have done another two Oh Canada songs.

MIDI - OH CANADA

Oh Canada…you love scouts to be gay
Out in the woods…surprises come their way

They will sing show tunes by the fireside
With a nice limp wrist salute
They will color hair …they’ll be certified
It will be really quite a hoot

Oh Canada… gays have prevailed
Oh Canada…all sanity has failed
Oh Canada…in the rear you’ll get nailed

Wayne Madsen is the moron who thought that Pres Bush's surprise Thanksgiving dinner in Baghdad took place at 6am. He can't figure out the time zones! He's in the Twilight Zone.

I was thinking of "Blame Canada" from "South Park":

Times have changed,
Our kids are getting worse
They won't obey their parents,
They just want to fart and curse. Should we blame the government, or blame society, or should we blame the images on tv No!
Blame Canada! Blame Canada

With all their beady little eyes,
their flapping heads so full of lies
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada!
We need to form a full assault, it's Canada's fault! Don't blame me, for my son Stan, He saw the darn cartoon, and now he's off to
join the klan!> And my boy eric once, had my picture on his shelf, but now when I see him, he tells me to fuck myself>

Well, Blame Canada!

It seems that everything's gone wrong since
Canada came along
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada! They're not even a real country anyway. My son could of been a doctor or a lawyer, it's a true, Instead he burned up like a piggie on a barbecue> Should we blame the matches? Should we blame the fire, or the doctor who allowed him to expire. Heck no!
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada!
With all their hockey hubaloo and that bitch Anne Murray too. Blame Canada!
Shame on Canada!

The smut we must stop
The trash we must smash
Laughter and fun
must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before somebody thinks of blaming us!

a quick search found 3 articles abot Ham Radio being used to aid in the Katrina rescue effort.
None mention jamming or interference, so the coverup must be really good!

That guy just doesn't have the right fillings in his teeth to tune in Secret Neocon Conspiracy Radio. And when you're out of the loop, you're out of the loop....

EX-WA0MEG here - couldn't afford radios and computers at the same time 20+ years ago, and was living in an apartment building, and my Hustler mobile whip on the balcony didn't work worth a darn. :o)

I can't believe how poor reception is on 40 and 75. I hear guys in the gulf area that should be blasting each other out of their socks on ground wave not being able to hear each other at all. I also hear a lot of "whistlers" on 40 - they are variable frequency warbles that slowly drift up and down the spectrum under the right ionospheric conditions. This is my first solar flare experience, and it's been a real eye opener. The timing of it couldn't be worse.

I hear you there. My rig isn't the best made or newest for that matter lol, but it works. It's an old Icom 745 on a home brew dual band dipole, think I have a total of 400 invested in both radio and antenna.

Ham radio is getting a bit of press here in Oklahoma because of Katrina. The local Red Cross is looking for volunteers to work at Camp Gruber. What I have heard on the news as far as radio goes has been good, maybe this will serve to bring some new blood into the hobby.

One thing I am hoping for is that Americans in general will learn to be more prepared so that when something of this magnitude occurs they won't be caught unprepared.

Madsen serves up trash du jour. Now what is real is that ham operators were ready to go in with the Red Cross and the Salvation Army right after Katrina and they were all prevented from entering by the Louisiana Boys under Blanco's control.
