Anyone know anything about Blogger/Blogspot being down? Are they experiencing a DOS attack, or just tech errors? A lot of Blogs are currently down.

and read the last 50-75 posts you'll find some pertinent info. I was thinking (hint-hint) that one of our geeks might start a thread for this...it's pretty important.

Being a non-geek I can only gather that Roadrunner is having some issues with Cogent and Leavel 3...that have yet to be worked out- this is the result.

I believe Roadrunner is on a Level3 network... so if blogspot.com is on Cogent, you won't be able to get from one to the other without routing through a third party.

Good news; Blogger/BlogSpot is back, at least for this RoadRunner user.

Blogger had some planned maintenance between 5 pm and 7 pm Pacific. For the first part of that time, individual BlogSpot blogs were still available, but the blogger.com interface wasn't. Somewhere around 6 pm PDT, the entire thing went down, and stayed down a bit longer than planned.

hhhmmm...I can't get it, Drudge or any streaming radio.

Hope these folks at Level 3 and Cogent get their collective acts together.

Drudge is definitely a Cogent user; so unless/until Level 3/Cogent get their act together (or your ISP hard-wires an alternate path), we're SOL.

As for Blogger/BlogSpot (humble quick plug for my shiny new blog, which I thought broke the whole thing :-) , try, try again. Try the usual clear cache/restart browser routine.
