You've been here since 2004, so maybe you don't realize who you're hanging out with. FR was started by conspiracy theorists. It used to be the Whitewater bulletin board on Prodigy starting around 97.
Now. I realize that some stuff, like this article, pushes the boundaries. I'm not here to promote it so much as test it. Posting it on FR is the best way to get to the truth, because the BS will be revealed. I do this often.
Take the Plame story- there is a cabal of researchers, (I have ping lists full of them) who are ripping that baby to shreds. Fitzgerald, the prosecutor, has been in the crosshairs lately. Same with the DeLay story.
Able Danger is a story where FR and other blogs are on the offensive. We are pretty much carrying that story with talk radio, all alone. Fine. The MSM doesn't want to touch it because the political bloodshed will include too many Clinton people.
OKC is the same way. It's just another episode in the Reno Justice Department's list of arocities. Did you know that Nichols was in the Phillippines before the bombing, meeting with Abu Sayyaf (Al Queda) learning how to make large bombs? Did you know that Zacharias Moussaui was attending the Norman, OK mosque, with a very interesting list of acquaintances? Some former Iraqi soldiers in the mix too. This is only scratching the surface. There was substantial middle eastern involvement there, but again, the MSM won't cover it.
So anyway, I guess we're all tinfoil freaks, and a goon like Dan Rather isn't. He's respectable, because he's part of the "media". Sure.
No, didn't know that and the reason I don't is because there is absolutely no evidence when he was in the Phillippines he was meeting with muslim terrorists. But, you see, you have taken a small element of fact (he was in the phillippines) and added information that has only been provided by very sketchy people and deduced from that there is a link between OKC and Al Qaeda. It is the exact same thing the Kennedy assasination conspiracy theorists do all the time. Take a tiny little bit of useless information and turn it into a major theory. But, I guess my big question to you is, aftern having implicated Al Qaeda in many terrorist act (african embassies, USS COLE, first Twin Towers attack, barracks in Saudi Arabia) you then state the government wants to avoid implicating muslim terrorists and only "had to" with 9/11 because it was so obvious. Whenever conspiracy theorist get involved in their conspiracies it ALWAYS involves a coverup by the US government for reasons that make absolutely no sense whatsover. We go to war with Iraq on the one hand, but we want to cover up Muslim involvement in terrorism. It's a goofy proposition. The US government is simply incapable of covering anything up. If they could you wouldn't have so many scandals all the time.
