Did you see this as to why Murtha has made a big deal about his withdrawal proposal? It's not a new position for him, but maybe he's trying to deflect the coming criticism and an ethics probe.

There was a freeper on the Live Thread that made a reference about that ... but I wasn't sure what s/he was taking about
