Well, when trolls like you consistently misspell an American hero's name, intentionally, even after it was pointed out to you, spelling becomes an issue. Otherwise, I could care less.
You're just here to disrupt, that's all.
Thanks for admitting defeat.
So, do you make it a habit to equate all decorated veterans with John Kerry, or just those that are shaking up your little RINO world??
Ah, the resort of every loser in the history of an arguement on FR.
The RINO defense.
I'm laughing my a$$ off at you. Just thought I'd tell you.
But I'm done now. Goodnight.
Yeah, right.
I was right in the first place...you are delusional.
I'm sure that John Campbell will be a good Congressman. He is a CPA, and we need more of those in Congress. And there is no doubt that Campbell will win by a wide margin, outpolling Gilchrest and the Democrat combined.
So the issue is sending a message to Washington, D.C. As I pointed out, the White House and Congress aren't serious about border security. It's important that Jim Gilchrest scores a high minority of the vote, for the purpose of calling attention and action to a serious issue. Border security is more important to the American people than one particular officeholder.
I think there are several ways of sending the message to DC that we need to beef up border security without placing a GOP House seat at risk. Whenever conservatives decide to send a message by staying home or voting for a third-party candidate, it seems to benefit liberal Democrats who get elected with under 50%. Sure, Bush 41 needed to be sent behind the shed after he broke his "no new taxes" pledge, but was it worth getting Bill Clinton elected with 43%?
I hope you're right and Campbell gets more votes than Gilchrist and Young combined, but remember the run-off is different from the first round and we can't predict how many Democrats will turn out. If the turnout is 58.4% Bush voters and 40.4% Kerry voters like last November, Young will most likely win if Gilchrist gets 25% or more.
Gilchrist is a CPA too. From his website:
Jim holds a B.A. in newspaper journalism, a B.S. in business administration, and an M.B.A. in taxation. He is a former newspaper reporter and a retired California CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
The ultra-liberal San Francisco Chronicle is doing a poll on the Minutemen. Are they a.) patriotic law-enforcers, or b.) dangerous vigalantes? Check in with your two-cents at http://www.sfgate.com
The Minutemen poll will be running for two more days. Go to "News and Features" on the left side of the screen, and you'll see "Polls." http://www.sfgate.com
