He is like all the spoiled rotten kids who became Weathermen in the 60's and excused killing innocents in the name of a more "just society." Lindh should have been hanged for treason, but at the very least should never see the light of day. He is just vermin.

Thank you for this. Now I know exactly what to tell anyone who thinks Jihad Johnny is being treated unfairly.
May the Lord deal with Johnny and his whole lying family. And may He bless Mike Spann's family with comfort and peace.

I hope our president doesn't knock a day off his sentence. Agree. Although a President Hitlery would as we know what her highness did with FALN. And thanks for the post.

Nice post! The way his father talked about him almost made you feel sorry for the kid. Pelter's a pretty interesting character and I'm glad he brought the truth to the JWL saga.

support Lindh Srs naïve view of his son and his actions
Lindh Sr isn't naïve. He's an America hater and a source of Jr's America hatred.

Johnny Spann stood in gently falling snow and wistfully recalled the day his son, CIA officer Johnny Micheal "Mike" Spann, lingered among the tombstones at Arlington National Cemetery, studying each inscription and testing his sister Tanya's patience. "Mike, let's go," she implored. "They're all the same." "No, Tanya, they're not," the younger Spann replied. "There are stories behind them." It is Mike Spann's story that draws Johnny Spann to Arlington now.
There is no greater objective for the grieving father these days than gathering the facts behind the uprising on Nov. 25, 2001, at the makeshift prison in Afghanistan where his son became the first American casualty of the Afghan war.

I wish Mr. Pelton had reported this in November 2001 on CNN.

If this man had done his duty and testified against Lindh, there wouldn't be any confusion at all about what he was. To hell with 'inconvenience', what about JUSTICE?
