Congress is going through the process of trying to fix the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Why do they think it needs fixing? Because, quite simply, the ESA is the worst law ever to be enacted by Congress.

Bad link? Anyway, how dare they do that! Does this mean my species and I can no longer impede the logging industry??? /sarcasm (I get a lot of sick laughs out of my screen name :-D)
Penn & Teller just ripped the ESA to shreds. It's outrageous the garbage it swills. Not only the story of the handicapped woman on their show, but years ago the Friends of Monmouth Battlefield (NJ) was prevented from building a stinkin' FOOT BRIDGE over a creek because it might harm the little froggies there. They finally got "permission", and it's a damn nice bridge.
Funny thing that in the front range of Colorado (Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse) the largest concentration of PMJM is on an existing golf course along the riparian areas and creek beds, but it is not allowed to build a golf course within 300 feet of the "habitat" unless the Owner "mitigates" the effects of the development on the "habitat"?
You have NO idea about the impact of the ESA on the American economy... some things good, some not so good
