When did that happen? The "only" (as if there should be any) banned semi-auto scatter guns that I know of are the Street Sweeper, Striker 12, and Franchi LAW 12, Franchi SPAS 12, and those that have two or more "evil features".

hmmmm, you're right...It's not illegal. At one point in torturous recent history the attorney general's office did assert that any semi-auto shotgun with more than 6-round capacity was an assault weapon, but this was not in the law.

I have heard CHP officers suggest that a shotgun with one visible "evil feature" which may be modified to include another "not visible" evil feature is probably going to get some attention...

Maybe I will get a Beretta after all...
