The names of orgs in the lower left are Latino communist/socialist activist orgs. Their aims are no different than FARQ in Columbia.

Bump for insightful post. Also, grab a gander at some of the later posts by other U.S. Hispanics in reply to this post-up on Indymedia by some of the racist/leftist Mexica types, here:

Proud U.S. Latins reply to the racists.

A lot of people are not falling for this stuff; however, there are a lot of uneducated people who are apparently being influenced by these guys. We need a pollster to tell us how much damage the MeChistas and Mexica types are doing among the undocumented workers they're pitching to.

If the Bush Administration doesn't back off this issue, they're going to cost the GOP the White House in 2008. Karl Rove is smoking dope if he thinks he can compete with these guys to get 40-45% of the vote this crowd of illegals would represent if amnestied and fast-tracked into the voting booth through Motor Voter and Tejano Democrat "registration" drives.

Karl Rove has made a fundamental miscalculation, mistaking the voting tendencies and Texas-influenced work-and-family values of the Mexican nortenos and Central Americans that we typically see as immigrants in Texas, as typical of what the rest of the country is seeing in the big immigration surge that is coming from all of Mexico, including the much more Leftist and nativist central and southern regions.

Furthermore, if an amnesty were to pass now, we would quite possibly begin to see immigration in numbers from the northern South American republics -- Venezuela, Colombia, Peru -- where the working poor are every bit as Leftist as, or maybe moreso than, Mexicans from central and southern Mexico. The influences of FARC and Hugo Chavez would then begin to be felt, and the exiled Peruvian Apristas of 60 years ago who settled in Mexico City were the conveyors of the nativist germ that currently infects some Mexican intellectuals who follow the Rivera/Kahlo Left/nativist line. The Peruvian APRA has been active throughout the 20th century and its influence is still a factor in Peru as a longstanding nativist party of the Left.

Bump for insightful post.

Thanks. Blind squirrel and all...

Here is a great post on another thread that very much applies.

Smith Act of 1940

Take a look at a poster for a march set for tomorrow. Friday, March 31

To be absolutely shocked, and more importantly informed, take the link from this thread by Jeff Head. At that website you will see exactly what they are trying to accomplish and it isn't citizenship/guest worker program/legal immigration status.
