Well it's as legit is it CAN be. I'm not sure how many La Voz actually speaks for, but it claims to speak for them all.
Is the provisional b.s. real? I'm sure some nut-job out there has claimed this title/rank whatever.
This type of thing doesn't surprise me. La Voz de Aztlan has been spewing jiberish for a number of years.
The problem is, there are always going to be some fringe nut-jobs that will tune in to this rhetoric and find purpose. Will this be accepted and adopted widespread? I don't think it will. Does it have to be to cause real problems?
We have allowed this situation to fester, and now we're going to reap the whirlwind. Sooner than later some of this is going to turn ugly.
Over-reacting on our side would be a very bad mistake. Let the cops sort this out. Of course they've done a wonderful job of enforcing the laws to this point...
Considering the sheer numbers involved, it would seem that the 'cops' are in over their heads and should a significant number of protesters believe this to be true and come armed, could a heap of trouble. Personally, I don't believe they should be allowed to assemble in such large numbers.
Thus far things have been peaceful, but, imo, thats only because these rallies have been, for the most part, somewhat unexpected and uncontested.
Not going to happen in LA, a "sanctuary" city, where the Chief of Police, Bratton, is a NY liberal, gun grabbing weasel.
OK though, as a pro forma throw-away statement.
