Right, and "I" am spending it the way "I" want to for a change.
LOL! I'm having too good a time here today, laughing out loud at my monitor. I'm glad nobody else is home!
That would get the point across just as well! Along with the Mexican flag we might want to include the Spanish National Anthem to give them something to listen to since they are a do-nothing Congress.
From what I have read, this idea seems to be getting their attention. It's amazing since nothing else that AMERICANS have tried to communicate to them seems to get through.
It might be worth trying.
Art. I, Sec. 8
"The Congress shall have the Power To...provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress insurections and repel Invasions..."
Art. IV, Sec. 4
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion..."
Art. VI., par. 3
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution;..."
U. S. Senate Oath of Office
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."
U. S. House of Representatives Oath of Office
"I, ..., do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."
You want votes? You want money? Do your damned duty! Secure the borders and get the illegal aliens out.
"If the delivery method is of question try going to Washington and deliver it throught their windows.
Maybe THAT would get their attention !!!!!!"
With the comment about an aggie engineer, I figured you were from TX. LOL!!!
If they still make those cardboard bricks like they used to have in kindergarten classrooms, one could simply put an address label right on the cardboard brick and mail it that way. Everybody along the way would see it, postage would be cheaper. I have mailed many unusual things (ie toast) as a mail artist. It is surprising what can be mailed.
Nah-get a postage paid envelope from the DNC, tape IT to the brick and mail it to them.
They don't deserve to have a costly brick wasted on their sorry little selves...
Even worse that we can't send 'em all packing.
I'm definitely sending the Bush Peso in with next the RNC fund raising letter
With or without vasoline?
How about a package of Legos? More suitable to their behavioral age (kindergarten)...
I'd love to send a brick to my rep, but instead of payin' eleven bucks, I'd rather bring my own and throw it through a window of the Crapitol. :)
That is exactly what I plan to do and I know I am going to have fun with them. They are absolutely "super" and I've sent them to everyone I know.
The National Brick Council suckers in Freepers once again...
Thats exactly WHY it's a good idea -- because the bricks can't be put through a shredder and ignored like your fake dollar bill can. Someone has to deal with it. And let me tell you, when the staff ain't happy, the Member ain't happy. And Members HAVE seen them and received them -- Sens. Allard and Cornyn have stated as much in the press, no less.
