...I was formerly known as Iraqi Fedayeen Major General, Ali Ibrahim Al-Tikriti. I was one of Saddam's chief Generals dealing with his secret nuclear, chemical, and biological programs...
After the Gulf War our weapons programs were driven deep underground to avoid international inspections. We composed an idea of using salvaged parts from Tamuz in the early 90's as well as research we still had filed to begin construction of a simulation reactor. One of the most critical components was the gas centrifuges. After numerous attempts to acquire specially designed high strength aluminum tubes for these centrifuges we were finally successfully in acquiring these materials in 1999 and early 2000 from Germany...
...As for foreign involvement in our programs, much of this can be attributed to the Russian Federation. Moscow directed many programs around the world, Iraq being one of them where chemical weapons and scientists were sent to further develop unconventional munitions. Contingency plans were developed though, in the event that the host nation was compromised, as in the case of the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Spetsnaz forces were sent to retrieve the munitions as well as any materials related to Russian involvement. These programs were designed to build stronger relations with countries that were discordant with the west...

Sadly, it's VERY obvious that anything that doesn't play into the Media/Lib established "Bush Lied" theme simply won't gaet any Airplay.....
If this were CLINTON's War, we'd be getting the nightly flag-waving propganda hour.......
/Sarc
Well when the Enemedia is controlled by Commies whaddya expect?
The Truth?
LOL!!!!!!!!
I cant hear anything.
What? Russia (one of the chief nations on the Security Council) and our "ally" Germany helped Iraq out?
This has to be a lie.
This is about the 10th time that I have read about this Soviet program called "Spetsnaz" from former Iraqi Generals
OFF TOPIC...
"Chicken's ass?" - Oh my, I could never see that as a best seller.
It's been a bit since I have been to your blog.
BUMP!
Now who are you going to believe....the honest (*ROFL*) media or your lying eyes? /sarc
I would love it if just one of these guys could lead us to a big old cache of chemical and biological weapons that had obviously been hidden at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Just one is all it would take.
Spetsnaz is a general term for "special forces" in Russian, literally "special purpose units". In Russian the term is commonly used to denote special forces of all countries, but in English it is used only for the Russian special forces.

You have GOT to see this - Ping!
i dont believe this, we would have known if the russians had sent in such a force. Blame the russkies, it's always them. Saddam didn't have WMD capabilities after 91, and if he did it was probably mustard gas. Also are you going to believe an Iraqi? Most of the intelligence we were getting before the 2003 invasion turned out to be false. Also a lot of these "former" commanders are trying to write books and say how they flew secret missions for saddam... blah blah blah...
"Just one is all it would take."
There's plenty of evidence we already have. One more isn't going to mean a damn thing.
How nice. I've been following the release of these documents, the hard work put into the translation of them, and have been thrilled to find out and spread the word all about them, but I hate to point out the obvious, D.C. doesn't care, they haven't said boo about them and apparently have no intention of using them to rebutt the 'Bush Lied Us Into War' mantra.
Maybe they're thinking if they wait long enough, the documents will come in handy at the impeachment hearings.

le bump
According to General Michael DeLong, author of "Inside Centcom", our troops found GPS jammers in Iraq with paperwork showing that they had come from Russia in March 2003 (the month we launched the attack if you recall).
But, I guess he's a liar too.
So why isn't this being hit and re-hit ever hour every day every week from now until hell freezes over by the conservative movement? Talk radio, FOX news, blogs and email groups, they all have the ability to hit well over 100 million Americans a day, and those people talk to many of the other 190 million who didn't hear it first hand. Seems to me that if this FACT of Iraq's WMDs that this General reports doesn't get play to all Americans, it's the fault of the conservatives in this country for not holding it in the faces of all those who oppose the war. It's not always the liberals fault. Sometimes, like with this story, conservatives don't seem to know enough to help themselves with their own arguments.
Just e-mailed link to Rush, Sean, Brit, Laura, O'Reilly...
thats preaching to the choir....email the alphabet networks....I just did.... Lets keep this thread bumped and distributed.
George W. Bush, for some reason I can't begin to understand.
The administration never countered the leftist propaganda about WMD' and in fact seemed to buy into it.
They have nobody to blame but themselevs and their pathetic PR skills.
Just as Sadly, the President doesn't bring it into a speech, provide translations (if necessary) and play it, analyzing it piece by piece. He doesn't seem to care very much about what happened to them.
Bush has already admitted that we were wrong about the WMDs. Why should we believe this Iraqi dude instead?
I guess I just live in a separate reality.
This guy defected in 1991 ... how is he credible?
Russian special forces troops moved many of Saddam Hussein's weapons and related goods out of Iraq and into Syria in the weeks before the March 2003 U.S. military operation, The Washington Times has learned.
John A. Shaw, the deputy undersecretary of defense for international technology security, said in an interview that he believes the Russian troops, working with Iraqi intelligence, "almost certainly" removed the high-explosive material that went missing from the Al-Qaqaa facility, south of Baghdad.
"The Russians brought in, just before the war got started, a whole series of military units," Mr. Shaw said. "Their main job was to shred all evidence of any of the contractual arrangements they had with the Iraqis. The others were transportation units."
... The Russian arms-removal program was initiated after Yevgeny Primakov, the former Russian intelligence chief, could not convince Saddam to give in to U.S. and Western demands, this official said.
A small portion of Iraq's 650,000 tons to 1 million tons of conventional arms that were found after the war were looted after the U.S.-led invasion, Mr. Shaw said. Russia was Iraq's largest foreign supplier of weaponry, he said.
This gels with the previous assessment of a suspicious Russian presence in Iraq before and during the war, along with dubious Russian denials of any previous violation of UN sanctions:
On that link, you'll see a previous interview I did with al-Tikriti. He says the WMD went to Syria. Stay tuned guys, there's a second videotape to be released!
However, how is a man who apparently defected in 1991 credible?
General Georges Sada said the WMD was FLOWN to Syria, not trucked. Now this guy says the Russians took it?
What bugs me about this interview is that the guy is sitting back in the shadows so you can't see his face, yet he gives his full name. He discusses the WMD but his voice is disguised. For all we know it could be John Kerry with a towel on his head, and a voiceover by John Edwards.
If nothing else, let the guy show the camera the area where the WMD was stored before shipping/flying out to Russia. Interview some local residents who remember seeing it trucked in and flown out. Show us SOME evidence other than a shadowy figure with a disguised voice. Give us links to confirming information and interviews with witnesses who can corroborate the story. I can't use any of this information against the lefties because it's worse than a Newsmax story. And I do very much want some evidence to use against lefties.
The best providers of information are current agents and defectors. Naturally, defectors are going to have the most connections. Better than the CIA would any way. He claims to have gathered information from his sources over the years and I believe him. He said in one interview, "The only difference between myself and them (the sources) is that I had the chance to defect."
Read my interview with FrontPage Magazine which is also on the same link. Some good evidence there.
As for Sada, if you read his book, you'd know that he said there was ALSO a truck shipment along with the flights. I have confirmed using sources of my own that at the very least, al-Tikriti was a member of Saddam's inner circle.
BUMP for exposure!
