I got an email from Charles explaining that he meant no disrespect for the disabled soldier, but exactly the opposite.
He has appealed to Jim but has not recieved a reply and is content to sit out his suspension in the New England cabin with ArmPitt.
Everyone may expect to see Charles back on or before Sunday.
Carry on.

Sometimes in print the target of one's barbs is misunderstood. I'm sure Charles' target in this case was Michael Moore, NOT the soldier. Hopefully this excommunication will be rescinded.

That was exactly what he indicated in his email to me. The post has been deleted, so I have no idea what he actually said.
You might check your email, as he indicated that he sent you one also.

!!!!GOOD NEWS!!!!
I received an email from Charles this a.m. regarding his suspension. He will return on Sunday unless the suspension can be lifted sooner. EMAIL FOLLOWS:
bcsco, I'm writing you via your regular edress, since
I can't even send a FReepmail right now. Yes, I've
been suspended!
Just as some of our fellow DUFUists have surmised, I
made a little joke on a thread that was not taken the
way I intended. It was about the Iraq War vet with no
arms suing Michael Moore, and the punchline was a way
of saying that I hope the guy wins his case against
Moore. But I think someone thought I was making fun
of the vet, which was exactly the OPPOSITE of what I
was doing! So I was suspended until Sunday night. I
e-mailed JimRob, politely appealing the suspension,
but haven't heard anything back.
If I have to wait until Sunday night, so be it. Maybe
I'll hang out with Pitt in his cabin in the woods of
New England.
You can relay this message on the latest DUFU, so all
my FRiends there don't have coronaries. And tell them
thanks for their kind expressions of support--I can
read them but am unable to reply!

I can't keep the BushCo secrets anymore. I mean, for $1,000 I would simply tell them everything. And I do mean everything about how we steal these elections!! I'm poor and I could use the cash to pay my online costs. If there is a DUer out there who wants to kno everything, find the cash and sign up for an account and FReepermail me.
Don't listen to him DUmmies! I've got a better deal! Just send me $10, and I'll get you all of the same information, with irrefutable documentation, within 24 business hours.

I was so mad that I threw what was left of my champagne bottle across the room and it shattered on my fireplace. F*ckin' Bush. He's destroyed my country, the world's environment, Iraq, and now my champagne! Let's ignore the hyperbole about destroying "the world's environment" and the slightly more arguable comment about destroyng Iraq.
Everything you need to know about a DUmmie is laid out right there in the comments about the champagne -- the DUmmie gets over-emotional and does something destructive. Does it take personal responsibility? No, the DUmmie blames Bush for its own poor decisions. This truly is the essense of a DUmmie.

I have heard that I was fixed when I was not. If that's you, benburch, then you should be relieved, shouldn't you?

It's funny that when places like DU are discussing issues like this two years ago, we're labeled as paranoid and conspiracy theorists. Then a couple years later, this stuff starts to become mainstream. Yes, the fact that you all are paranoid and conspiracy theorists is starting to become mainstream.

On a side note, isn't it odd how the so-called "progressives" are completely mired in the past? As long as they're still fighting the 2004 and 2000 elections (hell, they're still fighting Vietnam), the GOP will keep winning the elections in the future.

In what may be the single most astounding fact from the election, one in every four Ohio citizens who registered to vote in 2004 showed up at the polls only to discover that they were not listed on the rolls, thanks to GOP efforts to stem the unprecedented flood of Democrats eager to cast ballots their own failure to take responsibility for ensuring that they were actually registered in advance of election day.
Dang! One in every four?? If that is true thats a whole lot of people in both political parties! don't ya think the citizens of Ohio would have said something about that by now, or caused some sort of outrage?

Is it just me, or does Bobby always sound like he's passing a particulary large and uncomfortable turd when he's speaking?
Makes me want to say "hey pal, get back to me after you finish crapping, you slob".

It's a good thing these Kennedy s__tbirds never have to work a day in their lives.
That might interfere with their self-appointed mission to f__k up the rest of our lives.
