And your graphic for the socialist IRS and the evil Income tax/AMT would be?

For all the blathering that you and your gang do against the Fair Tax have you ever once mentioned/explained a tax plan that you do like?

People who whine and complain without a solution are nothing but dead weight.

Speaking truth to a fairtax nazi is as useful as a snowblower in hell.

Real great adhominen comeback there.

No substance, no solutions.

But a great tactic of calling those you disagree with nazis, NOT.

I have stated my position before - at length - and it's wasted on those who are not blind, but just refuse to see.

How's that little training camp in the backwoods of Idaho working out for you guys anyway?

SQL's have no reasonable basis for supporting the current income tax unless:

They work for the IRS

They are old CPA's who can't do consulting work

They sell life insurance or annuities

They sell the tax credit programs mentioned in the article

They are the builders who are beholden to the housing tax credit programs mentioned in the article

They hawk limited partnerships with tax advantages

They are vendors or employees of oil and gas partnerships with tax advantages

They work for someone like Turbo Tax or H&R Block

They do one of the myriad other tax based jobs that have evolved off of the misery of everyone else in the country and enabled the government/lobbyist complex to grow like a kudzu weed.

I would like some advice about pigdog from the Admins. Pigdog has a habit of calling people who disagree with him by nicknames. I'm "Nightie," Lewislynn is "Looey" (as in looney), Always Right is "Rongie," JOHN W K is "Johnnicakes" (a gay character on the Sopranos), etc. And as a group, those that are opposed to the FairTax are called "Squirrels" or SQLs - short for Status Quo Lovers (frankly, I find it very offensive to be considered as loving the status quo when it comes to this issue). Now these may seem like cute little nicknames but they are actually his attempt to be derogative towards those who don't agree with him. This is evidenced by the fact that he has no nicknames for those who agree with him.

Pigdog has just come off of a couple day suspension and during that time our FairTax conversations have had a very constructive and have had a pleasant tone. I'm afraid if pigdog is allow to continue to call his opponents by derogatory nicknames, the pleasant tone on these threads won't last long.

So, my question to the Admins is what should we do when he starts this? Should we alert the Admins, reply in kind to him and risk escalating the situation, or just grin and bare it?

And what position is that? seeing there are many reading these threads how have no idea what you are talking about.

If you have a good solution to end the income tax that has any chance at all with passing muster with Congress, we all want to hear it, I'm sure.

How's that little training camp in the backwoods of Idaho working out for you guys anyway?

And what training camp would that be?

Do you support the Flat Tax?

With all my heart. Let's see, you write tax-help books, right? Do you support the Bill of Rights?

I suggest YN read Anne Coulter's new book "Godless" and learn what real debate is all about. It certainly isn't about taking advantage of an opponent because the moderator has penalized him. It is about ideas and truth. Pigdog has always used nicknames on these threads as have his opponents and his penalty wasn't about that transgression.

If this is what we have come to, using the moderators in lieu of our own lack of ideas, then count me out. I gave up childish things a loooong time ago.

What about the X Tax?

Let's see, you write tax-help books, right?
Uh, no. What makes you think that?

Do you support the Bill of Rights?
Uh, yes. What does that have to do with anything?

You are so right.

As Lincoln said: "He has the right to criticize who has the heart to help."

or

what's that other one about helping or getting the he*l outta the way?

oh, yeah, "Lead, follow, or get the H*ll outta the way"

I suggest YN read Anne Coulter's new book "Godless" and learn what real debate is all about.
Sure. Everyone knows that Ann is the master of real debate...

It certainly isn't about taking advantage of an opponent because the moderator has penalized him.
I didn't realized I was taking advantage of any anyone. I don't think pigdog's constant name calling is appropriate for FR and I asked the Admins for advice.

It is about ideas and truth.
Exactly, it's not about calling those who disagree with you names.

Pigdog has always used nicknames
Doesn't make it right.

as have his opponents
That doesn't make it right, either. And frequently it's in response to pigdog.

his penalty wasn't about that transgression.
So you admit his name calling is a transgression.

If this is what we have come to, using the moderators in lieu of our own lack of ideas, then count me out.
Name calling is usually a sign of a lack of ideas.

I gave up childish things a loooong time ago.
So have I. The question is - can pigdog.

Uh, yes. What does that have to do with anything?

Well, the IV amendment says something about unlawful search and seizure, doesn't it? How can you support the current income tax over the fair tax if you support the BOR?

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated,...

Did I read it wrong?
